I can understand Urdu but can't speak it — where do I start?

That’s very common for heritage learners. The trial assessment will place you at Entry or Intermediate level and lessons will focus on turning understanding into confident speaking.

Do lessons cover reading and writing?

Reading is developed where it is appropriate and useful for your level and goals. The main focus is speaking and conversational confidence.

Who are the tutors?

All Urdu tutors are female, native Urdu speakers with advanced-level language ability.

What happens after the free trial?

You’ll receive feedback and a suggested learning pathway. You can then book sessions individually at £12, or save with the 10-session package at £100.

Can lessons be built around a specific goal?
